It applies to the macOS app (and future iOS app), the <code>api.redvision.ch<\/code> backend, and all client\u2013server interactions.<\/p>\n<h2>1. Data Collected<\/h2>\n<h3>1.1 User Account<\/h3>\n<p>When you sign in via <strong>Sign In with Apple<\/strong>, we receive:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Apple User ID<\/strong> \u2014 opaque identifier provided by Apple (cannot be used to retrieve your real identity)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Email address<\/strong> \u2014 either your real Apple email or a relay alias <code>@privaterelay.appleid.com<\/code> if you have enabled \u00ab\u00a0Hide My Email\u00a0\u00bb<\/li>\n<li><strong>Full name<\/strong> \u2014 only on first login, and only if you authorize it<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>1.2 Device Identifier<\/h3>\n<p>An <strong>anonymous<\/strong> device identifier (UUID generated locally) is created on first launch and sent to the backend solely to prevent abuse of the free trial quota (limit of 2 free retouches per device). This identifier is not Apple&rsquo;s IDFA, is not linked to your identity, and is not used for any advertising tracking.<\/p>\n<h3>1.3 In-App Purchases<\/h3>\n<p>When you purchase a credit pack, Apple transmits transaction information (transaction ID, product ID, amount, currency) to us via StoreKit so we can credit your account. <strong>No banking data<\/strong> passes through Red Vision \u2014 all payment processing is handled by Apple.<\/p>\n<h3>1.4 Photos Processed by AI<\/h3>\n<p>Photos you process via the <strong>AI Retouch<\/strong> or <strong>AI Sublimate<\/strong> mode are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Transmitted encrypted (HTTPS) to our backend <code>api.redvision.ch<\/code><\/li>\n<li>Forwarded immediately to AI provider <strong>OpenAI<\/strong> (model gpt-image-2) for processing<\/li>\n<li><strong>Not stored<\/strong> on Red Vision servers: neither the source image nor the retouched image is retained beyond processing time (~1\u20132 minutes maximum)<\/li>\n<li>Subject to OpenAI&rsquo;s privacy policy: <a href=\"https:\/\/openai.com\/policies\/privacy-policy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">openai.com\/policies\/privacy-policy<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The content of photos is not analyzed by Red Vision for profiling. No metadata is extracted for commercial purposes.<\/p>\n<h3>1.5 Technical Logs<\/h3>\n<p>The backend logs API requests (user ID, mode used, file size, processing duration, return code). No visual content is logged. These logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days and used for debugging and fraud prevention.<\/p>\n<h2>2. Purposes of Processing<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Authentication<\/strong>: grant access to the service via Sign In with Apple<\/li>\n<li><strong>Credits &amp; purchases<\/strong>: correctly bill and credit packs purchased via Apple In-App Purchase<\/li>\n<li><strong>Anti-abuse<\/strong>: prevent the creation of multiple accounts to exploit the free trial quota<\/li>\n<li><strong>AI service<\/strong>: temporarily transmit your photos to the AI provider to generate the retouched version<\/li>\n<li><strong>Technical support<\/strong>: diagnose problems via technical logs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>We do not sell any data to third parties. We do not display ads inside the application.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>3. Legal Basis (GDPR)<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Performance of contract<\/strong> (Art. 6.1.b GDPR): to provide the service you purchase<\/li>\n<li><strong>Legitimate interest<\/strong> (Art. 6.1.f GDPR): for fraud prevention and security<\/li>\n<li><strong>Consent<\/strong> (Art. 6.1.a GDPR): for optional features (notifications)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>4. Your Rights<\/h2>\n<p>As a user residing in the EU, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom, you have the following rights:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Right of access<\/strong> to your personal data<\/li>\n<li><strong>Right to rectification<\/strong> and update<\/li>\n<li><strong>Right to erasure<\/strong> (\u00ab\u00a0right to be forgotten\u00a0\u00bb) \u2014 available directly in the app via <em>Settings \u2192 Delete my account<\/em>. Subprocessors<\/h2>\n<p>Red Vision uses the following providers, each contractually committed to GDPR compliance:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>OpenAI Ireland Limited<\/strong> \u2014 AI photo processing (model gpt-image-2). Retains data \u2264 30 days for legal compliance, with no training on your data (enterprise policy).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cloudflare, Inc.<\/strong> (Workers + D1) \u2014 backend hosting and database storage (user accounts, transactions). EU datacenter.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Apple Inc.<\/strong> \u2014 Sign In with Apple, In-App Purchase payments, App Store distribution. See Apple&rsquo;s privacy policy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>6. Security<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>All client\u2013server communications are encrypted with TLS 1.3<\/li>\n<li>The backend uses certificate pinning to prevent MITM attacks<\/li>\n<li>Authentication tokens are stored in the macOS Keychain<\/li>\n<li>Apple notifications are cryptographically validated (JWS signatures)<\/li>\n<li>No banking data passes through Red Vision<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>7. AI-Generated Content<\/h2>\n<p>Images produced by Real Estate Studio are generated with the assistance of OpenAI (gpt-image-2). In compliance with Apple guidelines, every image generated during the free trial is marked with the \u00ab\u00a0rv\u00a0\u00bb watermark to indicate its artificial origin.<\/p>\n<h2>8. Data Retention<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>User account<\/strong>: retained as long as your account is active. Immediate deletion on request.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Transaction history<\/strong>: retained for 10 years for Swiss accounting compliance<\/li>\n<li><strong>Technical logs<\/strong>: 30 days maximum<\/li>\n<li><strong>Processed photos<\/strong>: not retained (processing time only)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>9. Changes to This Policy<\/h2>\n<p>Any significant changes to this policy will be notified in the app and by email to your Sign In with Apple address.
